You probably know about this but some of my customers ask me when I should add herbs and spices while I’m cooking my dish?

Simple rule of thumb:

You’re going to want to add dried herbs and spices to your dish in the beginning of cooking most of the time, so your food will be infused with the flavour of the herbs and spices used.

On the other hand, you can chop and add the fresh herbs at the end, so if they’re barely cooked all the flavour will be there.
