So we are back with another omelette. This time though is a ham and cheese omelette frittata with potatoes that is perfect for lunch or a light dinner.<\/p>\n<h5>Ingredients<\/h5>\n<p>1 medium potato<br \/>\n3 eggs<br \/>\n1 cup ham thick slice cut into cubes (or buy it pre-cut into cubes)<br \/>\n2\/3 cup cheese cubes<br \/>\n1 garlic clove<br \/>\nsalt, pepper, rosemary<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-ldquo-il-vero-rdquo-0-5-lt\/\">Belmorso extra virgin olive oil<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/balsamic-vinegar-of-modena-igp-malpighi\/\">Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nsalad of your choice<br \/>\nbread of your choice<\/p>\n<h5>Preparation<\/h5>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8305\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8306\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Start by peeling and cutting your potato into small slices. Then boil the cut potato for under 10 minutes or until you can insert a fork and it doesn&#8217;t feel to hard.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8307\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-4-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8308\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-5-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the meantime cut your cheese into cubes, and do the same with your ham; set aside.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8309\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-6-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mince a garlic clove, and once the potato is ready, drizzle some Belmorso extra virgin olive oil in a pan, and add the garlic and potato cubes to saute&#8217;. Add the rosemary.<\/p>\n<p>Beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8310\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-7-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8311\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-8-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After a couple minutes add your ham and cheese cubes to the pan with the garlic and potatoes.<\/p>\n<p>Then add the egg mixture, and leave to cook at low temperature until completely cooked. No need to flip it, although you can try.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8311\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-8-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Serve with a side salad dressed with Belmorso extra virgin olive oil and our Balsamic di Modena IGP.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy with some crusty bread.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8304\" src=\"https:\/\/belmorso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/ham-and-cheese-omelette-1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"ham and cheese omelette\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<h5>Tips<\/h5>\n<p>If you are vegetarian you can simply omit the ham. This is lovely enjoyed in Spring and Summer.
