It is a recipe that I learned to make when I was living in Verona. You will use a few ingredients that when combined, explodes with flavor. You can also use <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/fusilloni\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fusilloni<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/penne\/\" target=\"_blank\">Penne<\/a> for this dish.<\/p>\n<h2>INGREDIENTS<\/h2>\n<p>for 4 people\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">(even though we were 3 when we eat it \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n<p>500g <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/?s=Fusilli&amp;post_type=product\" target=\"_blank\">Fusilli<\/a>\u00a0Lunghi<\/p>\n<p>4 tbsps <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\" target=\"_blank\">Extra virgin olive oil<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2\u00a0onions, thinly sliced<\/p>\n<p>2 clove\u00a0 garlic<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp crushed chillies<\/p>\n<p>1 large yellow or red pepper<\/p>\n<p>200g fresh ripe plum tomatoes<\/p>\n<p>90g stoned green olives<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp dried oregano<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsps fresh basil leaves, torn by hand into small pieces<\/p>\n<p>Freshly grated parmigiano reggiano\u00a0cheese to taste<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper<\/p>\n<h2>PREPARATION<\/h2>\n<p>Put the olive oil and onions in a large saute pan\u00a0over medium to low heat. Saute for about\u00a030 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Pour 5 litres of water into a large\u00a0pot and place over \u00a0high heat.<\/p>\n<p>Core the peppers, take off seed and white veins\u00a0and cut into strips strips to the saute pan with\u00a0the sauce and cook, stirring occasionally, until\u00a0they are tender: about 5 \u20146 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><a the\u00a0tomatoes and cook until they are no longer\u00a0watery: about another 5 \u20146 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><a with salt, stir in the olives, capers,\u00a0oregano and basil, and after about 30 seconds\u00a0remove from the heat and set aside.<\/p>\n<p><a water for the pasta is boiling, add 1\u00a0tablespoon of salt and drop in the pasta all at once,\u00a0stirring until the strands are submerged.<\/p>\n<p><a
