Shortbread, fig rolls, and digestives can spoil\u00a0our appetite for dinner.<\/p>\n<p>It is made with <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">extra virgin olive oil<\/a>\u00a0instead\u00a0of butter! They are delicious, and the\u00a0flavour\u00a0is distinguished by a very intriguing aromatic aftertaste!<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, they are healthier, since it uses whole grain flour and extra virgin olive oil. The first is rich in fibre while the latter contains one of the best fats, with a lower calorie count than butter. <a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/makes-extra-virgin-olive-oil-best-among-best\/\">EVOO<\/a> comes with several additional benefits too.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, due to its high antioxidant and anti-inflammation content, olive oil boosts our immunity system and strengthens and protects the structure of our blood vessels. Thanks to the presence of monounsaturated fats and the oleic acids, olive oil is a great ally against &#8220;bad&#8221; cholesterol and heart diseases. It has been demonstrated that taking three spoonfuls of olive oil each day consistently reduces the level of blood pressure.<\/p>\n<p>So, let&#8217;s try my:<\/p>\n<h1>Butter-Free Tea Biscuits!<\/h1>\n<h2>Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>175g Wholegrain Spelt Flour<\/li>\n<li>half teaspoon of Baking Powder<\/li>\n<li>2g Cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>100g Honey<\/li>\n<li>100g\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mix in a bowl all the powders: flour, baking powder, and cinnamon, so as to obtain a homogeneous mixture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Butter-free-Tea-Biscuits1-e1476951982524.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3773\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3773\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Butter-free-Tea-Biscuits1-e1476951982524-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Butter-free Tea Biscuits1\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then, add the honey and the oil.
