This is a versatile recipe that can be a money-saving way to help you use up your leftovers and stale bread.<\/p>\n<p>You can also use gluten-free bread if you prefer and it can be a perfect alternative for a vegetarian diet and the best thing is that ricotta balls are also delicious the day after.<\/p>\n<p>For my recipe, I also used a delicious\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/country-basil-sauce\/\">Jar of Basil Tomato Sauce<\/a>\u00a0with onion and a hint of basil. A nutritious sauce full of antioxidants and bursting with flavour.<\/p>\n<p>You will be surprised at how tasty this simple meal can be!<\/p>\n<p>Try my:<\/p>\n<h1>Vegetarian Ricotta-balls with Basil Tomato Sauce<\/h1>\n<h2>Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>300g Ricotta<\/li>\n<li>100g Stale Bread<\/li>\n<li>1 Egg<\/li>\n<li>30g Shaved Parmesan<\/li>\n<li>30g shaved Pecorino<\/li>\n<li>Parsley<\/li>\n<li>1 <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/country-basil-sauce\/\">Jar of Basil Tomato Sauce<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/RicottaMeatballs1-e1479306964215.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3974\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3974\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/RicottaMeatballs1-300x184.png\" alt=\"RicottaMeatballs1\" width=\"300\" height=\"184\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, stir together the ricotta\u00a0and the stale bread, previously crumbled.
