A surprisingly delicious and super creamy sauce!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients for 2 people:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>180g of <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/penne-rigate\/\">Penne<\/a> (or another shape of pasta you prefer)<\/li>\n<li>160g canned tuna<\/li>\n<li>100g Pitted <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/black-olive-oven-baked\/\">Black Olives<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1\/2 white onion<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<li>salt as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PastaBlackOlivesTuna1-e1485890761696.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4330\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PastaBlackOlivesTuna1-300x156.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"156\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bring the water to the boil over a high heat and add the salt. Then, add the <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/penne-rigate\/\">penne<\/a> and stir, reduce to\u00a0medium-high\u00a0heat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PenneBlackOlivesTuna2-e1485891107142.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4331\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PenneBlackOlivesTuna2-300x209.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"209\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, we are going to prepare the sauce.<\/p>\n<p>Place tuna, sliced <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/black-olive-oven-baked\/\">Black Olives<\/a>, finely sliced onion and 3-4 tablespoons of <a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra Virgin Olive Oil<\/a>\u00a0into the blending jug.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PenneBlackOlivesTuna3-e1485891176349.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4332\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PenneBlackOlivesTuna3-217x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"217\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Blend the ingredients at a low speed in pulses until all the ingredients are combined. Increase the speed until smooth. Add the seasoning and eventually add the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">olive oil<\/a>.\u00a0 Add a little of the boiling water from the pasta to the sauce if it appears too thick.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PenneBlackOlivesTuna4-e1485891343516.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4333\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PenneBlackOlivesTuna4-300x167.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pour the pasta through a strainer. Shake out the excess water. Return the pasta to the pot and toss it with our\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/black-olive-oven-baked\/\">Black Olives<\/a> and tuna\u00a0sauce that you just made.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PenneBlackOlivesTuna5-e1485891427743.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4334\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/PenneBlackOlivesTuna5-300x196.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"196\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Stir the pasta with the sauce for few minutes on a medium heat until the sauce is warm.<\/p>\n<p>All done!
