Nobody can say no to such a tasty little flower full of cheese!<\/p>\n<p>For my recipe, I used <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/peppers-strips\/\">pepper strings<\/a> but you can also make it with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/grandmothers-artichokes\/\">artichokes<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/sun-dried-tomatoes\/\">sun dried tomatoes<\/a>\u00a0or any other ingredient of your choice!<\/p>\n<p>Kneading and shaping the dough can be fun when cooking with friends, family or kids so bring them all into the kitchen and let&#8217;s \u00a0welcome spring in our tables \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Get ready and try my:<\/p>\n<h1>Pizza Flowers with Cheese and Peppers<\/h1>\n<h2>Ingredients for 12 Flowers:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>250g Flour type 0 ( or plain flour)<\/li>\n<li>140ml of Water<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 Dry baking powder bag<\/li>\n<li>3g Salt<\/li>\n<li>1 <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/peppers-strips\/\">Jar of Pepper Strips<\/a><\/li>\n<li>100g of Cheddar or Emmental cheese<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4897\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4897\" style=\"width: 291px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4897 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers1.jpg\" width=\"291\" height=\"226\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4897\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ingredients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sift the flour in a big bowl, then stir the salt and baking powder. Pour the lukewarm water into the mixture and wait few minutes. Then knead the dough, until smooth. Shape the dough like a ball. Cover the dough with a kitchen cloth and let it stand for 2-3 hours until the volume will be twofold.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4900\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4900\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers2-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4900 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers2-2.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4900\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Make the dough<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the meanwhile, dice the<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/peppers-strips\/\"> pepper strips<\/a> and the cheddar.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4901\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4901\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4901 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers3.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4901\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dice the pepper strips and the cheddar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Roll out the dough into a nice circle that is about a half a centimetre thick.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4902\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4902\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4902 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers4.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4902\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Roll out the dough<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With a food ring mould of about 11 cm (or a big breakfast mug) cut the dough, obtaining dough circles.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4903\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4903\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4903 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers5.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4903\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Obtaining circles from the dough<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With a 6cm food ring mould (or an espresso cup) stamp a little circle in the middle of the circle. Use the central circular imprint as a guide, to cut with a knife little stripes, such as rays.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4904\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4904\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4904 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers6.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4904\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cut the rays<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Join two strips together to create the petals of the flowers.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4905\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4905\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4905 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/PizzaFlowers7.jpg\" width=\"296\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-4905\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Create the petals<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When your flowers are ready, put a bit of the diced <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/peppers-strips\/\">pepper strips<\/a> in the middle and then a bit of diced cheddar on top.
