However, not everyone knows that it is also fabulous with a different kind of sauce!<\/p>\n<p>I wanted something fresh and super easy to cook for today, I used zucchini and bacon to make a pasta sauce that tastes\u00a0delicious both warm and cold. The result\u00a0is a velvety and crunchy dish. Bacon is a wonderful aftertaste to zucchini, making the sauce absolutely flavourful.<\/p>\n<p>You can toss your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/trofie\/\">Trofie<\/a> with different ingredients. \u00a0I also suggest adding yellow and red peppers to this dish or even chicory or squash.<\/p>\n<p>You should definitely try this pasta dish:<\/p>\n<h1>Trofie Pasta with Crunchy Zucchini and Bacon<\/h1>\n<h2>Ingredients for 3-4 people:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>300g of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/trofie\/\">Trofie<\/a><\/li>\n<li>650g Zucchini<\/li>\n<li>100g Diced Bacon<\/li>\n<li>1 Garlic clove<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper, as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5562\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5562\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Trofie1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5562 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Trofie1.jpg\" width=\"296\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5562\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ingredients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Dice 550g of zucchini.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5563\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5563\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Trofie2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5563 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Trofie2.jpg\" width=\"296\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5563\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dice part of the zucchini<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In a pan, brown the garlic clove and then add 50g of diced bacon. Since the bacon has enough fat, you don\u2019t need to add any kind of oil.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5564\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5564\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Trofie3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5564 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Trofie3.jpg\" width=\"296\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5564\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Brown part of the bacon<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the meanwhile, add water and salt to a pot and then bring it to boil, this will be for the pasta.<\/p>\n<p>Let fry the bacon until brown and then add the zucchini cubes.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5565\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5565\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Trofie4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5565 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Trofie4.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5565\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Add the zucchini<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Add 50g of the boiling water. If needed, add\u00a0salt and pepper.
