Here is a great warm turkey recipe for the\u00a0colder\u00a0months of the year. It&#8217;s easy to put together and can be a perfectly hearty on a chilly day.<\/p>\n<p>To give a special and unique taste to my recipe, I combined the turkey with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/pitted-rosate-olives\/\">Pitted Black Olives in Brine<\/a>, these olives are quite salty and bitter giving a flavorful touch to meat, especially those that are light in taste like turkey. You can also use<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/bella-de-cerignola-olives-medium-size\/\">&#8220;Bella de Cerignola&#8221; Olives<\/a> if you like them better or mix both of them!<\/p>\n<p>I also added one spoon of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/hot-pepper-spread\/\">Hot Chilli Pepper Spread<\/a>\u00a0to give a spicy touch to my recipe!<\/p>\n<p>So what are you waiting for? Fasten your apron and welcome the Autumn with my:<\/p>\n<h1>Spicy Turkey with Mushrooms and Olives<\/h1>\n<h2>Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>500g of Turkey Breast<\/li>\n<li>1 Jar of <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/pitted-rosate-olives\/\">Pitted Black Olives in Brine<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/bella-de-cerignola-olives-medium-size\/\">&#8220;Bella de Cerignola&#8221; Olives <\/a>&#8211;\u00a0as you prefer (or both of them!)<\/li>\n<li>150g Mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>1 Clove of Garlic<\/li>\n<li>1 Small Onion<\/li>\n<li>A Glass of White Wine<\/li>\n<li>1 spoon of <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/hot-pepper-spread\/\">Hot Chilli Pepper Spread<\/a><\/li>\n<li>1\/2 litre of water<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra virgin\u00a0olive oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a>,\u00a0Salt and Parsley as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5719\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5719\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5719 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato1.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5719\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ingredients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Slice the turkey breasts in small pieces.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5720\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5720\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5720 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato2.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5720\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dice the turkey breasts<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Chop the onion.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5721\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5721\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5721 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato3.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5721\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chop e the onion<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Start frying the onion in a pan with a little bit of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra virgin\u00a0olive oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0until it get\u00a0slightly\u00a0golden around the edges. After few minutes, add the turkey and one spoon of <a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/hot-pepper-spread\/\">Hot Chilli Pepper Spread\u00a0<\/a>followed by a pinch of salt.<\/p>\n<p>Stir and fry all together for few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5722\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5722\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5722 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato4.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5722\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fry the turkey in the pan with onion and chilli peppers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Now, you can add the olives in the pan. Then, and the white wine and cook it until is reduced.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5723\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5723\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5723 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato5.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5723\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Add the olives and blend with white wine<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Add the boiling water to the mixture, 2-3 ladleful. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer until the water is absorbed and the meat is tender. Continue to add one ladleful of water at a time and letting the water reduce until the pan is dry each time. It is more or less the same procedure that we use to make nice risotto!<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, cut the mushrooms and fry them in a small pan with a bit of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra virgin\u00a0olive oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a> and the garlic clove. Cook it for 5 minutes and then turn off the heat.<\n<a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5724 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato6.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a> Fry the mushrooms with a garlic clove[\/caption]<\/p>\n<p>Mince the parsley.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5725\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5725\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5725 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/stufato7.jpg\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-5725\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mince the parsley<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Just 5 minutes before the meat is ready, add the mushrooms. Turn on the heat to a higher temperature and cook for 5 more minutes.
