You could even prepare\u00a0in advance and have some ready in the freezer to warm up at home when it&#8217;s raining outside!<\/p>\n<p>You can also accompany\u00a0your\u00a0meal with a\u00a0slice of toasted bread, crostini or some delicious artisan\u00a0<span class=\"ac-designer-copy\"><a class=\"ac-designer-copy\" href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/potato-and-rosemary-tarallini-bread\/\" data-ac-default-color=\"1\">tarallini<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>from Puglia. Give to your meal\u00a0that extra crunchiness that makes this soup a cosy autumn dish.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome the colder season and enjoy with me this lovely recipe:<\/p>\n<h1>Onion Soup with Parma Ham and Balsamic Vinegar &#8220;Saporoso&#8221;<\/h1>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>200g Potatoes<\/li>\n<li>400g Onions<\/li>\n<li>750ml Vegetable Stock<\/li>\n<li>Parma Ham<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/balsamic-vinegar-saporoso-6-years-old\/\">Balsamic Vinegar of Modena\u00a0&#8220;Saporoso&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">\u00a0Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<li>White Pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 Sprig Rosemary<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6316\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6316\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/OnionSoup1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6316 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/OnionSoup1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"296\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6316\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ingredients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We put a pan over a low heat and add a dribble of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a>. Then, add the sliced onions and cook until they turn translucent and lose their crispness.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6317\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6317\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/OnionSoup2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6317 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/OnionSoup2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6317\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Stew the sliced onions<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Then,\u00a0 add the sliced potatoes, a spring of rosemary and the preheated vegetable\u00a0stock. Cook all the ingredients until tender.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6319\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6319\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/OnionSoup4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6319 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/OnionSoup4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6319\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Add the potatoes, rosemary\u00a0and hot stock<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Remove\u00a0the spring of rosemary and blend it with a hand blender.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6320\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6320\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/OnionSoup5.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6320 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/OnionSoup5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"296\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6320\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Blend the ingredients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cut the Parma Ham into strips and saut\u00e9 in a frying pan.
