This time I have to say that I nailed it!<\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0braided bread\u00a0is soft and rich in\u00a0flavour.\u00a0It requires a bit of patience to make the bread dough but trust me, it will definitely worth it!\u00a0Everyone will fall in love with the taste and smell of this bread with melted cheese&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Get your hand dirty and call the little ones&#8230; we&#8217;re going to have some fun today!<\/p>\n<h1>Handmade Stuffed Braided Bread<\/h1>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<h4>FOR THE DOUGH:<\/h4>\n<p>400g Manitoba Flour<\/p>\n<p>200g White Flour 0<\/p>\n<p>100g Durum Wheat Semolina Flour<\/p>\n<p>5g Baking Powder<\/p>\n<p>25g Brewer&#8217;s Yeast<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">\u00a0Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Salt, as needed<\/p>\n<h4>FOR THE FILLING:<\/h4>\n<p>400g Spinach<\/p>\n<p>300g Ham in cubes<\/p>\n<p>200g Matured Cheese in cubes<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/sun-dried-tomatoes\/\">1 Pack of Sundried Tomatoes<\/a><\/p>\n<p>200g of grated Parmesan<\/p>\n<p>2 Eggs<\/p>\n<p>50g of Pinenuts<\/p>\n<p>Salt and Pepper, as needed<\/p>\n<p>Poppy Seeds<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6461\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6461\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/BraidBread1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6461 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/BraidBread1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6461\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ingredients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4>LET&#8217;S GET STARTED!<\/h4>\n<p>Dilute the brewer&#8217;s yeast in 380ml of warm water.<\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, mix the three different types of flour and the baking powder, then add the warm water with yeast and a bit of<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">\u00a0Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a>\u00a0and a pinch of salt (around 15g).<\/p>\n<p>Make the dough, until smooth.<\/p>\n<p>Cover the dough and let it grow for 2 hours.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6462\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6462\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6462 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6462\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Let&#8217;s the dough rise!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In the meanwhile, cut the olives in small pieces and boil the spinach for few minutes with a pinch of salt. Then,\u00a0 let them cool down.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s prepare the braided bread.<\/p>\n<p>Divide the dough into 4 pieces.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6463\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6463\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6463 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6463\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Divide the dough into 4 pieces<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Roll each of them, obtaining a thin rectangular leaf of dough. Spread with beaten egg.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6464\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6464\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6464 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6464\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Roll each piece of dough<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On the top of each sheet of dough put a quarter of the spinach, ham, cheese, pine nuts, chopped\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/sun-dried-tomatoes\/\">sundried tomatoes<\/a>, salt, pepper and finally sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Roll it up.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6465\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6465\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6465 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"296\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6465\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fill the dough<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cut the rolls in 1cm thick slices.<\/p>\n<p>Cover a baking tin with baking paper and place the slices, in order to create a wheat ear shape, to obtain our braided bread: put 2 slices near each other, then put a single slice in front of them in the middle. The continue with two slices, and further on.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6466\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6466\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-6466 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/BraidBread6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6466\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Create your braid<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cover with a rag and let it grow for a further hour.<\/p>\n<p>Spread with beaten egg, sprinkle poppy seeds on top and bake the braided bread at 180\u00b0C for 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Done!
