One of them is a thick and delicious gravy, the other one is an apple and balsamic vinegar sauce. The perfect combinations for your meat and roasted potatoes!<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/balsamic-vinegar-of-modena-igp-malpighi\/\">Malpighi\u2019s IGP Silver Balsamic Vinegar of Modena<\/a>\u00a0is obtained from cooked grape must and only 30% of wine vinegar. Aged in oak barrels. It has a rich brown colour with an intense but balanced aroma and a lingering fruity flavour with hints of wooden shades. It is also delicious on fish and crustacean, with fresh or cooked vegetables and on boiled or roasted meats including game.<\/p>\n<h1>Roast Beef with Apple and Balsamic Gravy<\/h1>\n<h4>Ingredients for 4 people:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>600g Beef<\/li>\n<li>Rosemary<\/li>\n<li>Bay leaves<\/li>\n<li>1 Garlic clove<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 Lemon<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/balsamic-vinegar-of-modena-igp-malpighi\/\">Malpighi\u2019s IGP Silver Balsamic Vinegar of Modena<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Salt and Pepper as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7214\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7214\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7214 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"296\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7214\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ingredients<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Warm up a bit of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-il-vero-1-lt\/\">Extra Virgin Olive Oil &#8220;Il Vero&#8221;\u00a0<\/a>with the herbs.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7215\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7215\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7215 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"296\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7215\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Warm up oil with herbs and then add the piece of meat<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cook the beef in a pan on a very high heat for few minutes each side, to seal the meat in the juices of the herbs mixture.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7216\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7216\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7216 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"296\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7216\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Seal the meat in the juices on a very high heat<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ones you have\u00a0obtained the desired brown or black crust, cook the meat for 15 minutes in the oven at 180\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7217\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7217\" style=\"width: 296px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef7.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7217 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"296\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7217\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cook in the oven for 15 minutes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Then, turn off the oven and cover the meat with aluminium foil. Leave the meat to rest for further 15 minutes with the oven turned off.<\/p>\n<p>Then, remove the meat and place it on a cutting board to slice it.<\/p>\n<h4>How to make the gravy:<\/h4>\n<p>In a little pot, warm up the juices that were left in the tin. Add a clove of garlic, the juice of 1\/2 lemon, salt, pepper and 2 tbsp of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/balsamic-vinegar-of-modena-igp-malpighi\/\">Malpighi\u2019s IGP Silver Balsamic Vinegar of Modena<\/a>. Turn off the heat when the sauce starts to boil. Stir well and serve with the meat.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_7218\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7218\" style=\"width: 295px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef8.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-7218 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/cookwithgusto.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/RoastBeef8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-7218\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Prepare the balsamic gravy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4>How to make the Apple &amp; Balsamic Vinegar Sauce<\/h4>\n<p>250g Onion<\/p>\n<p>450g Fuji Apples<\/p>\n<p>50g Sugar<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp Mustard<\/p>\n<p>50g\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tastewithgusto.ie\/shop\/balsamic-vinegar-of-modena-igp-malpighi\/\">Malpighi\u2019s IGP Silver Balsamic Vinegar of Modena<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Pepper<\/p>\n<p>Nutmeg<\/p>\n<p>Peeled and chopped the apples and the onions.
