Italian Fast Food

The frenetic rhythm of modern life makes us accept most of the processed fast food that we buy at supermarkets as good.

After reading this short post, you will be able to make something that tastes good and will take less time to prepare than the prepared meal bought at the supermarket, put it in the microwave, remove it from its plastic box and serve it.

Italian Fast Food: A Quick and Easy Alternative

Here is my easy alternative:

Chop a couple of small onions, put them in a pan with a little bit of extra virgin olive oil and crushed garlic. When the onions start to soften, add a tin of good tomatoes and reduce the heat. During this time, you can cook some spaghetti for 8/10 minutes. That is the time needed for the sauce to be ready.

Drain the pasta, toss it in the pan with the sauce, add some herbs if you like and serve it with a sprinkle of Parmigiano et Voila!

This way, you get the satisfaction of eating something that you made with nothing in it that is bad for your health!!

This is our Italian fast food!!

Alternatively, you can also use any of the pasta sauce available at our online shop for a healthy, delicious and quick pasta dish.

This is the reason why you can’t find a lot of fast food brands in Italy, because if you are on the street there is always a way to enjoy our traditional handmade fast food like a Panino (my favorite is with Parma ham and mozzarella), a Piadina, a slice of Focaccia ripiena or a Parzerotto (the best is the one my mother makes ).

If you are at home you don’t need a food delivery because you always have pasta.
