Baked Hake on a bed of Beetroot
This time I have matched one of my favourite fish hake and the earthy and sweet taste of Beetroot.
Baked Hake on a bed of Beetroot
Beetroots are a good source of iron and folic acid, which can help to lower blood pressure and boost exercise performance. So why not to try this recipe a little bit unusual.
Ingredients
4 filets of Hake
3 medium beetroot
2 onions
2 tomatoes
1 lemon
Prelibato white balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Heat the oven at 200º, peal and slice the onions, do the same with the beetroot and pour them into a baking dish. Mix with a little bit of olive oil all together.
Now put in the oven for 20 minutes with a tin foil on it. Add the tomatoes cut in quarter and cook for another 10 min with any foil. Now on top add the hake that you will have beforehand seasoned with salt and pepper, and put a slice of lemon and tomato slice, if you like, on top as I did.
Drop the temperature to 180º and finish to cook for 15 min.
Serve it with a drizzle of our Prelibato White Balsamic Vinegar and Enjoy
